In an effort to make your browsing experience a little less challenging and, hopefully, more productive, we have instituted this page to keep track of ALL special events and projects hosted/sponsored by our Lodge, a Brother Lodge or appendant body. Let us know what you think. Check back here regularly or contact us in order to find out what events we are currently planning and look back with us on past events. For additional information, try the Grand Lodge of Arizona web site.

What major changes do you see in the United States and the World in the next 15 to 20 years? That’s a tough question, but one with which 12 Sahuarita student essayists excelled recently. The students are fifth through eight graders at Sahuarita Intermediate School and Sahuarita Middle School who competed in the 2019 Public Schools Essay Contest sponsored by Green Valley Masonic Lodge #71 and the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Arizona. More than 300 of their fellow students submitted entries, and the three best essayists from each grade were recognized in an awards ceremony, each receiving a monetary award and a certificate honoring their outstanding performance. The winner’s essays are now at the Grand Lodge level competing against students from around the state.
Fifth grade winners: Justin Martin first place; Mya Lennox second place; and Elijah Askren, third place.
Sixth grade winners: Naomi Perez first place; Lucy Hanavan second place; and Tara Teslow, third place.
Seventh grade winners: Anissa Molina first place; Payton McIntyre second place; and Parker Boring, third place.

The Arizona Child Identification Program addresses the alarming fact that more children are reported missing each year. While most are found, many are not. All of the identification materials generated by the program are given to the child's family. The Lodge retains none of the information acquired by this program. This CHIP program is offered to the public at no charge. This program is very worthwhile and could use a few volunteers to get, and keep, it going. If interested, please contact the Lodge Secretary. Contact the Lodge Secretary for additional information on how to join us in this very worthwhile program.
